Type locality of Lestrolepis nigroventralis, Pingtung, off Dong-gang. Most specimens were collected by midwater trawl together with Sakura shrimp Lucensosergia lucens and other pelagic fishes, such as Bregmaceros species and myctophids (Ref. 121637). |
